How do I add a gift note?

We are happy to add a handwritten card with any purchase - simply write the text of your note into the "Special Instructions for Seller" area of your cart before purchase. If you would like to add a gift message after completing your purchase, you can email the message to connect@thimblecollection.com.

How does your sizing run?

In general, our sizing runs true-to-age. Please see our product pages for detail on the fit of each style to decide if you'd like to go up or down a size (we find that those below the 20% or above 80% percentiles may want to size down or up). Our sizing chart is available here.

How do I care for my Thimble products?

All Thimble products can be machine washed and dried (in fact, we pre-wash and dry all our fabric to make sure your pieces don't shrink!). Because our pieces are cotton-based, they can wrinkle and so a warm iron will keep them looking their best. Stains and spills most definitely happen with little ones, so we encourage you to please test a small section of the fabric with whatever your preferred stain treatment method is before treating the stain.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently ship to the US only. We look forward to offering international shipping in the future.

How do returns and exchanges work?

We want you to be 100% satisfied with your Thimble purchase. Please email us at connect@thimblecollection.com if you need a return, repair, or exchange and we'll cover the shipping cost both ways. Because we make limited quantities of each style, we can't guarantee direct exchanges, but we'll do whatever we can to make things work for you. We will repair our garments anytime, though regular returns and exchanges must be requested within 30 days of delivery. Once we send a return shipping label, customers have 10 days to place the item in the mail to be eligible for a return or exchange.

What if I can't find my package?

Orders of in-stock items are generally shipped within 1-2 business days while orders with pre-order items ship within three weeks. We send USPS tracking information for all deliveries, so that's the best resource to know where your package is once it's shipped. If USPS says it's been delivered and you're unable to find it, we recommend double-checking the address on your order and taking care to look around your house and yard (and with your neighbors) as it's not uncommon for small packages to find themselves in impressive hiding spots.
